Kota Belud Trail

With the addition of many new safety features at the cost of millions of dollars and the addition of a new Mountain Search and Rescue Team (PBB MoSAR) based in the town of Ranau in the foothills of Mt Kinabalu it is now confirmed safe to climb again.
Another addition is the new alternative ‘Kota Belud’ Trail following a westerly route this time. This trail is said to be more short and scenic so watch this space for more updates!
