Sabah Parks Enforced A Smoking Ban On Mount Kinabalu

Following the latest announcement by Sabah Parks, individuals are now banned from smoking along the Mount Kinabalu summit trail at an altitude of 3272.7 M to - 4095.7 M, effective from 19/03/2023.  

The areas affected are from Panalaban Base Camp to the mountain's peak, which has been gazetted as a No Smoking Zone, and visitors can see no smoking signages displayed along the route.

Individuals found in violation of the regulation will have actions taken against them.
