Terms and Conditions:

Safety and Health Precautionary Measures

• We only allow a maximum of 85 passengers for every session. This is to avoid overcrowding and enhance safe distancing.
• Only Fully Vaccinated Individuals with Low Risk Status will be permitted onboard. You are required to present your Vaccination and Low Risk Status via your MySejahtera App upon check in and Registration. Your temperature will also be taken before boarding the cruise.
• Passengers are to maintain a safe distance at least 1m apart from one another.
• Senior Citizens above 75 years of age will not be allowed to board the cruise, for their own personal health precautions.
• Seating allocation:
  • Tables and seats are allocated onboard the cruise. Table seating arrangements will follow the safe distancing guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
  • Same group / family to be allocated in same table.
  • For couples who wish to have a guaranteed private table by the window, surcharges of MYR150/table will apply.
• A thorough disinfecting of the cruise will be conducted before and after every session.
• All food & beverages are prepared in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by the Ministry of Health.

General Notes

1. Guests are to arrive at Sutera Marina Jetty at least 15 minutes prior to cruise departure.  
2. No outside food and beverages (including Tarap and Durian) are allowed onboard the North Borneo Cruises. There will be a corkage fee applicable for outside beverages. 
3. Due to dim lights, please mind your step when walking along the jetty at night.
4. Smoking is strictly limited to the designated area outside the restaurant. Please do not throw cigarette butts, matches, or cigar ends over the side of the ship.
5. Please pay attention to the safety briefing and announcements made by the crew for a seamless cruise experience.
6. Consumption of drugs or contraband or conducting of any illegal activity onboard North Borneo Cruises is strictly prohibited. North Borneo Cruises shall hold no responsibility or liability for any guests who participate in such activities. 
7. All guests are required to behave respectfully to the Cruise Captain, members of the Crew and Cruise Attendants, and other guests. Should any passenger display unruly or violent behaviour toward anyone onboard North Borneo Cruises, the Operator reserves the right to involve the authorities once the cruise has reached the mainland. 
8. In any situation regarding the safety of the vessel and its passengers, the Cruise Captain holds full authority to make the final decision. 
9. The Operator / Cruise Captain reserves the right to refuse any passenger to board if they display unruly behaviour under the influence of alcohol or drugs, without any refund. 
10. Any damages or loss to equipment onboard or on the cruise due to negligence or unruly behaviour must be replaced or repaired by the passenger responsible.  
11. North Borneo Cruises will not be liable for any injury received by passengers that are caused due to negligence or unruly or violent behaviour onboard. 
12. Children (11 years and below) must always be supervised by an adult. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants are not responsible for or liable for them.  
13. A carer must accompany passengers with disabilities at all times. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants will take reasonable care in bringing them onboard but is not responsible or liable for their movement while onboard. 
14. We will require your passport/MYKAD number for registration.
